CT Cubetwist Square One SQ1 Speedcube Puzzle Brain Teaser

CT Cubetwist Square One SQ1 Speedcube Puzzle Brain Teaser Review

This puzzle is a cube consisting of three layers. The top and bottom layers are cut like a pie in 8 pieces; 4 edge pieces and 4 corner pieces, 30 and 60 degrees wide respectively. The top and bottom layers can rotate. The middle layer is cut in only two halves along one of the lines of the other layers. If there are no corner pieces in the way, you can twist half the cube 180 degrees so that pieces from the top and bottom layers mingle. The puzzle is unique in that the two types of pieces intermingle. The edge and corner pieces can freely move between the two outer layers. Of course, the puzzle will not necessarily be a cube shape if the pieces are mixed. The puzzle has six colours, each face has a single colour similar to the Rubik's cube. Read more...

Scramble Squares: Martial Arts

Scramble Squares: Martial Arts Review

Everyone is kung fu fighting--everyone on these Scramble Squares, that is. Easy to Play, but Hard to Solve is the motto for this deceptively simple-looking puzzle. By the time you've become addicted and find yourself unable to solve the thing, you'll realize it's not so much a motto as a warning. Nine colorfully illustrated cardboard 4-by-4-inch squares depict various unfinished images of four martial artists engaged in hand-to-hand combat. The images must be matched and the nine squares arranged in a larger square. An ingenious, elegantly executed puzzle idea, Scramble Squares will have you simultaneously blessing and cursing its inventor Read more...

Cosmic Creature Lonpos Fill-In the Pieces Puzzle

Cosmic Creature Lonpos Fill-In the Pieces Puzzle Review

Cosmic Creature Brain Teaser consists of 12 blob-shaped (very uniquely shaped) puzzle pieces. There are over 106 different challenges to complete. In each case one is presented with 2 or more pieces which are set in the tray for a given challenge. Attempt to fit in the remaining pieces without moving the given pieces.

The less pieces provided in the challenge the more difficult the puzzle. The more pieces indicated in their position the easier the puzzle.

Play the puzzle in a compact, plastic, hinged case. Case measures approximately 4.6 inches by 3.6 inches The base is very cleverly designed with hundreds of recessed holes. Puzzle pieces have anywhere from 3 to 7 small protruding knobs. The pieces stay put when the knobs match the holes. We give the design an A+.

Each of the 12 puzzle pieces has a unique letter (A, B,C, D to L) and unique color. One can create their own additional challenges by placing a given piece in the upper left corner. Do not move this single piece. Attempt to fill in the puzzle with the 11 remaining pieces. Rearrange the remaining 11 pieces as much as necessary to get every piece to fit ! Good luck.

This is a great take anywhere puzzle because of its compact size and extended play value. Recommended for ages 6 to 105 years.
